European BEST Engineering Competition is an international event taking place in over 30 countries in Europe. Main purpose of this event is to create opportunity for students of technical universities to check their own practical knowledge, creativity and problem solving abilities.

What motivates us?

EBEC gives students opportunity to use their theoretical knowledge in real life engineering problems. We focus on multidisciplinary tasks, which allow participation of students from all faculty.

Team Design & Case Study.

Both categories show being an engineer is not only ability to solve sophisticated math calculations. If your talent is building prototypes (TD) or analytical thinking (CS), then EBEC is competition for you.

Not only for participants.

During EBEC we want to develop not only contestants, but all students. We encourage students to participate in workshops organized by partnership companies and scientific clubs.

Board of European Students of Technology

Empowered diversity - developing students

BEST, Board of European Students of Technology is a constantly growing non-profit and non-political organisation. Since 1989 we provide communication, co-operation and exchange possibilities for students all over Europe.

94 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in 32 countries are creating a growing, well organised, powerful, young and innovative student network.

BEST strives to help European students of technology to become more internationally minded, by reaching a better understanding of European cultures and developing capacities to work on an international basis. Therefore we create opportunities for the students to meet and learn from one another through our academic and non-academic events and educational symposia. “Learning makes the master”, but the final goal is a good working place, therefore we offer services like an international career centre to broaden the horizons for the choice on the job market.
Our priority is to offer high quality services for students all over Europe. Thus, we manage to bring all the partners in the “student – company – university” triangle closer.

We are students from 6 different technical universities, who see the potential of this Competition. We want to develop it and ourselves with each edition.
